Unused data is an untapped assets, a business opportunity missed. For FSIs the comprehensive and intelligent sharing of actionable insights is essential to drive change, deliver cost-saving efficiencies, and help create products and services that will attract and retain customers.

The problem, however, is that most organisations are failing access and share all the data potentially at their disposal. Why? What are the barriers preventing the comprehensive and intelligent sharing of data?

Common roadblocks include internal governance, external regulations and data sovereignty laws, legacy technology, legacy culture, siloed functions, and siloed thinking. For FSIs – already characterised by complexity – an imminent merger or acquisition only adds to the obstacles that keep valuable data out of reach.

At this specially-convened roundtable event, we will be examining those challenges in detail, before exploring the steps FSIs can take to remove barriers and create the conditions for a data-driven future.
