Image titleBala was the Group Chief Operating Officer of Mercer, a unit of Marsh McLennan, since its acquisition of Jardine Lloyd Thompson (JLT) in 2019. Prior to this, he was the CEO of JLT’s global employee benefits business having successfully turned around the business to achieve market leading organic growth.  

He has extensive experience in financial services and a strong track record in delivering excellent client outcomes. Bala has been a driving force for the adaptation and implementation of technology in financial services and drives efficiency through relentless client focus, process redesign and digitalisation.
