More than a year on from the outbreak of war in Ukraine, there is little sign that sanctions introduced against Russia are about to be softened. For FSIs already dealing with cost cutting pressure due to recession fears, the compliance and operational demands have created a new perfect storm. It means doing more with less.

Assessing this perfect storm through the framework of people, process and technology, what should FSIs do to manage the burden, protect customers, and stay on the right side of regulatory obligations? That question is at the heart of this FStech roundtable.

We will bring together senior financial crime and compliance professionals to share their experiences and best practice. Reflecting on last year, we will explore the most effective medium to long-term approaches to financial crime and sanctions – measures that will allow FSIs to turn current volatility into a new opportunity.
