She has 10 years experience with stints in Software Engineering, Policy, Banking Supervision, FinTech, RegTech and ethical data and AI practices. Fatima navigates the intersection of finance, technology, and ethics, shaping the thinking behind the responsible use of data and AI technologies for the financial services industry. Previously, she headed the Operational Risk and Resilience Hub at the Bank of England, Prudential Regulation Authority for International Banks that operate in the UK financial sector. She was responsible for delivering the vision and strategy that oversaw firms’ adoption of new technologies. Fatima holds a Masters degree in Artificial Intelligence, Ethics and Society from the University of Cambridge and a Masters degree in Public Policy and Management from the University of York.
