Speaker profile: Roberto Álvarez Ceballos

Roberto Álvarez Ceballos is the Director of the AI Office for Spain and LATAM, leading the overall strategic vision for AI. In this role, he drives digital transformation and innovation at a regional level, while bridging the gap between cutting-edge AI research and practical business applications.

Previously, he served as Director of Products and Platforms, following his role leading UST’s SMART Center of Excellence, where he oversaw strategy across Social, Mobility, AR/VR, IoT, and UX/UI.

Before joining UST, Roberto spent seven years in the UK at Invitation Digital, where he served as Head of Smartphone Development and played a key role in scaling the company from startup to global success, including its acquisition by Vodafone. He began his career as an R&D Engineer at Indra, leading innovation-focused initiatives and technical teams.
