Speaker profile: Hetal Popat

Hetal is Director for Open Banking services provided globally across HSBC. He is accountable for delivering and operating the Open Banking solutions being required in markets across HSBC’s global footprint. He also closely supports the businesses as they seek to develop propositions that use Open Banking to benefit customers. Prior to this role he led front office commercial/corporate banking teams at Barclays, as well as heading strategy functions at both Lloyds and Barclays. He is a keen adopter of new technologies and all things digital.
