Speaker profile: Jason Shiu

Jason Shiu is the Compliance Manager at Vanguard, responsible for the surveillance programme and operations in the Europe region. Within the Surveillance team, he leads efforts to strengthen conduct and market-abuse monitoring across the business (trading, investment, and distribution activities). His responsibilities include the coverage of trade surveillance, e-communications monitoring and certain control room functions. Prior to joining Vanguard, Jason has held a number of surveillance roles at GAM Investments and Eaton Vance. Jason holds a Master’s in Law, Business and Management and a Law LLB degree.
