With just one week to go, CyberSecurity Live 2026 will bring together senior financial services professionals, cybersecurity specialists and technology experts to examine the threats reshaping the security landscape and the strategies needed to build greater resilience.
Taking place on 11 November at the Hilton London Tower Bridge, the conference will provide a day of expert insight, practical discussion and networking, with an agenda covering everything from AI-driven threats and software supply-chain vulnerabilities to digital banking security, Zero Trust and quantum readiness.
With cyber threats continuing to evolve and financial institutions facing growing pressure to demonstrate their resilience, the event will offer attendees an opportunity to hear directly from those working on the frontline of financial services security.
The programme opens with a regulatory perspective from Claire MacArthur, interim Head of Technology, Resilience and Cyber at the Financial Conduct Authority. Her keynote, *Building resilience in a changing threat landscape*, will explore how firms can demonstrate what they can withstand and recover from, manage critical third-party dependencies and respond when cyber incidents develop into wider operational events.
The morning will also examine the growing challenge of securing enterprise software. Julio Guijarro, CTO at Red Hat, will discuss the pressures facing the open-source security model, including the sharp rise in published vulnerabilities and the opportunities for AI-powered tools to identify previously undiscovered flaws.
A panel sponsored by OpenText will bring together representatives from HSBC, OpenText, Alvarez & Marsal and Allica Bank to consider how financial institutions can strengthen application security without slowing development. The discussion will look at the role of AI, automation and software supply-chain visibility in identifying and prioritising vulnerabilities.
Later, Nadya Hijazi, non-executive director and former HSBC managing director, will share lessons from more than 30 years in financial services. Her fireside chat will explore the challenges of securing digital banking at global scale, drawing on experience overseeing services used by more than one million corporate and institutional clients across more than 65 markets.
The programme will then turn to the security implications of agentic AI. Matt Coppinger, EMEA CTO at Omnissa, will examine how autonomous agents are changing endpoint security and why organisations need greater visibility and control over the identities, permissions and access these tools use.
The afternoon's discussions will look beyond immediate threats, with a Foreguard Advisory Group-sponsored panel exploring Zero Trust, quantum readiness and the future of cyber resilience. Speakers will consider how financial institutions can address today's security gaps while preparing for emerging risks.
The conference will conclude with Ben Peet, UK/Europe CISO at Standard Chartered Bank, sharing 10 priorities for CISO teams to consider in 2027, including why effective security planning needs to extend beyond AI.
Alongside the conference programme, attendees will have opportunities to exchange experiences with peers, make new industry connections and discuss how organisations can turn cybersecurity strategies into practical action. The day will include dedicated networking breaks and a lunch reception.
Places are free for professionals working within regulated financial institutions and insurance companies, while technology providers and consultants can attend for £395 plus VAT.
