FStech announces second edition of AI conference for financial services sector

FStech has announced the return of its flagship conference exploring artificial intelligence applications in financial services, set to take place on 9 October 2025 at the London Hilton Tower Bridge.

The Future of AI in Financial Services will bring together thought leaders, innovators and decision-makers from across the financial landscape for its second edition, following the successful launch of the inaugural event in 2024.

The comprehensive one-day conference will examine how AI technologies are fundamentally reshaping banking, insurance, investments and regulatory frameworks through dynamic keynote addresses and expert-led panel discussions.

"Following the tremendous success of our first conference last year, we're excited to once again convene the brightest minds in financial services and AI," said Jonathan Easton, editor at FStech. "This year's event will delve deeper into the practical implementations that have delivered real business value, whilst addressing the critical balance between innovation and responsible governance that defines our industry's future."

Conference themes will span operational resilience in the age of AI, examining how financial institutions balance innovative deployments with evolving regulatory requirements, and the evolution of AI-driven risk management through advanced machine learning models transforming credit scoring and fraud detection.

The event will also explore generative AI in customer service, analysing the impact of large language models and conversational AI, alongside discussions on AI-powered central bank digital currencies and their implications for traditional banking.

Additional focus areas include AI's role in environmental, social and governance analytics, sustainable finance, and the ongoing payments revolution. Sessions will address AI applications in insurance underwriting and claims processing, financial crime prevention, sanctions compliance management and much more.

The conference emphasises real-world integration strategies for sophisticated AI systems, demonstrating how institutions can effectively harness these technologies whilst maintaining human oversight and judgement.

Delegates will gain insights into both British finance developments and global innovations, with particular emphasis on implementations that have delivered measurable business value over the past year.

The exclusive gathering offers networking opportunities with professionals from traditional financial institutions, emerging fintechs, regulatory bodies and technology providers.

Registration is now open, with attendees eligible to win an Apple Watch at the conference conclusion.
