FStech Awards 2025 launched to celebrate innovation in financial services

The prestigious FStech Awards have returned for 2025, inviting entries from companies that have demonstrated excellence and innovation within the UK and EMEA financial services.

Now in its 25th iteration, the awards aims to recognise groundbreaking achievements across a wide range of categories.

Financial institutions and technology providers are encouraged to submit their entries before the deadline of 7 November 2024. The glittering awards ceremony will take place on 13 March 2025 at the London Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square.

This year's awards feature an expanded list of categories, reflecting the rapidly evolving landscape of financial technology. Notable additions include the 'Best Use of Embedded Finance and Open Banking', recognising firms that have embraced Open Banking initiatives and integrated embedded finance capabilities. The new ‘​​ESG Excellence in Banking’ category aims to highlight success stories for financial institutions that have made an exceptional commitment and tangible progress in meeting their environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals.

Other key categories include 'Best Use of Artificial Intelligence in Financial Services', 'Cyber Security Solution of the Year', and ‘Consumer Finance Product of the Year'.

The 'Startup of the Year' category returns to shine a spotlight on visionary new entrants making waves in the FinTech and InsurTech sectors. For more established players, the 'Digital Transformation Project of the Year' will recognise effective initiatives to integrate disparate systems and update legacy technology.

Individual excellence will also be celebrated through the 'CTO/CIO of the Year Award', honouring senior technology decision-makers who have made a significant impact on the industry.
