Ex-Revolut manager launches crypto platform for gaming and gambling firms

An ex-Revolut and Yapily employee has launched a new crypto platform targeted at gaming and gambling companies.

XDA.io, spearheaded by former Revolut global authorisations senior manager Andria Evripidou, is designed to allow gaming communities of any global licence to trade in both crypto and fiat currencies.

The company said that the platform, which is built with streamlining and compliance in mind, addresses "growing demand" among gaming and gambling companies for a more accessible and user-friendly banking and cryptocurrency ecosystem.

"While mainstream sectors have never really endorsed crypto currency, the gaming community has adopted it and thrived,” said Evripidou, who also formerly worked as public policy and compliance lead at Yapily. “With the rapid adoption of crypto in gaming, it's time for a financial platform that caters to the unique needs for both crypto and fiat accounts in one gaming friendly place."
