ING co-operates with Amazon for DealWise cashback portal

ING is collaborating with Amazon to offer cashback on purchases made via ING’s shopping platform DealWise.

As part of the offer, the Dutch Banking group is giving its 2.9 million current account holders 5 per cent cashback on qualified Amazon purchases via DealWise until the end of 2021.

DealWise is an online cashback portal developed by parent company ING Bank NV.

Qualified purchases include orders in categories such as electronics & computers, Amazon devices, toys and clothing until 31st December.

ING said the offer extends to the Amazon Marketplace, and applies to all new and existing Amazon customers. In order to receive the reimbursement, ING customers will select “Cashback Service” in the internet banking or banking app and then go to Amazon via “DealWise”.

The shopping platform, which has more than 250,000 registered users, offers customers the choice of over 1,000 online shops, including Amazon.

The saved cashback amount is automatically credited to the respective ING current account after the return period has expired on their purchase.

Laura Wirtz, lead for daily banking & payments at ING Germany, said: “We are continuously working on offering our customers attractive services and features.

"Thanks to these new collaborations, our customers save real money when shopping online via “DealWise” and benefit from services that go beyond traditional banking."
