JP Morgan launches new features on investing platform

JP Morgan has introduced new functionality for fixed income investors on its self-directed investing platform. The updates aim to simplify the process of researching and investing in corporate bonds, treasuries and similar products.

Key enhancements include a yield comparison table enabling quick yield comparisons across fixed income products with timeframe filtering options. Investors can also use customisable screeners to identify products matching their specific criteria. The platform now features a streamlined trade ticket designed to execute transactions more efficiently with fewer steps and immediate yield visibility.

These features are accessible through both the Chase mobile app and website. JP Morgan stated the improvements reflect its ongoing commitment to providing Chase customers with a premium online brokerage platform for wealth growth.

Over the past twelve months, the firm has expanded its offerings to include fractional shares for more than 3,000 stocks and ETFs, portfolio benchmarking tools against major indices, investment opportunity identification features, trust accounts, and additional products including margin trading along with leveraged, inverse and volatility ETFs.

"Fixed income investments remain crucial for portfolio diversification, helping mitigate stock market volatility while generating consistent income through regular interest payments," said Paul Vienick, head of online investing at JP Morgan Wealth Management. "We've created an intuitive fixed income experience that stock investors will find familiar."

"What truly differentiates our offering is its availability across both desktop and the Chase mobile app," Vienick added.
