MoneyLion strengthens cash flow data capabilities with new platform

Consumer finance specialist MoneyLion has rolled out a new cash flow data underwriting platform in collaboration with credit infrastructure and analytics specialist Nova Credit.

The new system integrates Nova Credit’s platform Cash Atlas into MoneyLion’s existing consumer finance ecosystem.

MoneyLion is a digital finance ecosystem that powers distributable embedded marketplaces, enabling financial product providers to acquire consumers at scale.

Its current platform connects consumers with real-time, bespoke financial product offerings and services, offering its clients the ability to choose between a range of providers.

The new integration enables users to receive a more detailed view of their financial position and access consumer-permissioned bank transactions data while expanding access to credit options.

It is also designed to provide lenders with a comprehensive view of credit risk, so they can make more informed financial decisions.

“Since our inception, MoneyLion has been focused on increasing access to financial products,” said Tim Hong, chief product officer at MoneyLion.

He added that cash flow data is essential for understanding consumers more holistically and unlocking more ways to provide consumers with the services they need.

“Our partnership with Nova Credit strengthens MoneyLion's ability to provide financial institutions with better tools to make informed credit decisions and expand the range of consumers they can serve,” continued Hong.
