Nium provides G2 Travel with virtual card payments

Singapore-headquartered FinTech Nium has launched a new partnership with wholesale tour operator G2 Travel.

The company will use Nium’s virtual card payment tool to pay its hotel partners around the world.

The partnership also adds more local currencies to G2 Travel’s offering.

The new virtual card payment service aims to provide G2 hotel partners with faster settlements, automated reconciliation, and broader acceptance.

David Littlefair, founder at G2 Travel said that the move gives the company the scale it needs to "tap into high-growth markets" and "meet rising demand" for quicker and more secure payments in travel.

Nium also announced that G2 Travel plans to expand the company's global payment capabilities by adding more virtual card currencies.
