Revolut has confirmed it will open its first permanent physical store in the centre of Barcelona, Spain to make the brand tangible and offer new ways for customers to discover its products.
The FinTech said the new Revolut Store will act as a high-visibility, immersive environment designed to showcase its ecosystem and make its products more accessible to consumers.
A spokesperson for Revolut confirmed to FStech that the store will not operate as a traditional bank branch, instead focusing on engagement, discovery and brand experience.
The company selected Barcelona as the pilot location due to its combination of “local density, global relevance, tourism and innovation”. The store’s exact location and final service offering have not yet been made public.
Revolut said introducing a physical presence would add a “human layer” to its digital experience, adding the move will help to build trust amongst its potential customers.
Since it launched in 2015, the company has grown via a purely digital offering. Revolut now serves around 70 million customers globally and continues to expand across payments, lending and broader financial services.
Revolut’s push into physical stores comes amid strong continued growth. The firm recently reported a 46 per cent increase in revenue to €5.2 billion in 2025, alongside a 57 per cent rise in pre-tax profit, driven by expansion in lending and customer activity.
Earlier this month, Revolut Business announced the launch of a global hiring platform designed to help UK businesses recruit and pay international employees without establishing local legal entities.
