Tandem launches greener living marketplace

Tandem has announced the launch of Tandem Marketplace.

The FinTech bank said the new marketplace is a consumer-focused hub which provides key information and resources to help promote greener living.

Tandem’s motivation to promote greener living stems from recent research that it conducted which revealed that almost 19 million Brits are unaware, uninformed, unwilling or unsupported on how to approach greener living.

The marketplace will include information about green home improvement from solar panels to boiler upgrades, advice on greener choices, guest content from industry experts, and access to Tandem’s range of financing products including green home improvement lending.

Commenting on the new platform, Georgina Whalley, chief impact and marketing officer at Tandem, said: “We are in the middle of a climate crisis and a cost-of-living crisis and people shouldn’t have to choose between heating and eating.”

She added: “This is why we have created our marketplace; becausd people need more information and support to make greener choices.”

The first phase of the Tandem Marketplace is now live, and the bank said it plans to incorporate further information and resources about aras including greener motoring and money management in the future.
