Vienna Stock Exchange re-appoints CFO

Andrea Hermann has been re-appointed as chief financial officer at the Vienna Stock Exchange to provide “stability and continuity” to the management board.

Prior to joining the Vienna Stock Exchange, Herrmann was chief financial officer of Western Union for 11 years. She has also held senior roles at a variety of companies including GE Money Bank, Telekom Austria, and global technology company ABB Austria.

Her current contract runs out at the end of April 2024 and has now been extended for three more years.

Hermann retains her membership on the management board, a position she has held since May 2021.

Earlier this month, the Vienna Stock Exchange announced that it had added Jump Trading Europe as a new international trading member.

The move took the total number of trading members to 70, including 21 Austrian and 49 international banks and securities firms which are connected to the trading platform.
