British digital bank Zopa has announced the appointment of Peter Donlon and Kate Erb as chief technology and chief operating officer respectively.
In a press release, Zopa said that the pair will add “significant technology and operations experience” to the company’s leadership as it matures and enters its next stage of growth.
Donlon will oversee the bank’s engineering team of 220 staff and look to further implement artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning. He joins from Moonpig where he scaled up the company’s tech team and led its £1.2 billion London Stock Exchange listing.
Erb meanwhile will lead business critical functions like operations, customer service, collections and recoveries. She joins with over 20 years of experience in financial services and joins from Leeds Building Society.
