Aldermore Bank partners with Mambu

Aldermore Bank has partnered with cloud banking platform Mambu in a bid to modernise the way it uses technology.

Aldermore Bank provides specialists financing for homeowners, landlords and business owners.

The partnership says the move will enable Aldermore to provide a “differentiated experience” for its customers, launch services at scale, and accelerate the time to market.

Aldermore joins the 18 fully regulated banks in the UK which already use Mambu’s cloud banking technology, in addition to 22 non-bank lenders and electronic money institutions (EMIs), such as GB Bank, Tide, Chetwood Financial, and Mutual Vision.

Additionally, 260 companies in 65 other countries use the technology including Western Union, Commonwealth bank of Australia and ABN AMRO.

In October, Scottish neobank Alba Bank has said it is moving to Mambu’s cloud banking platform to help manage its SME lending services, as well as its retail and business deposits.

Last year, Mambu partnered with Visa for card processing services. The SaaS platform said the strategic partnership with Visa would enable its to make use of Visa DPS, one of the largest processors of Visa debit transactions globally.
