Dutch bank ING has announced the appointment of Daniele Tonella as the company’s new chief technology officer.
Tonella, who will also serve as a member of the management board banking, previously worked at UniCredit for four years in a number of roles, including group chief information officer and chief executive of UniCredit Services.
Before then he held various roles at AXA Group, Evalueserve, and Swiss Life.
Tonella will succeed Marnix van Stiphout who has held the role ad interim since 1 November 2023, in addition to his roles as chief operations officer and chief transformation officer.
