NatWest rolls out new employee engagement tech

NatWest has introduced new technology to improve employee engagement across the organisation.

The bank partnered intranet firm Oak Engage which provided the technology.

The tech uses algorithms to manage delivery across all channels with the aim of removing complexity around communicating strategic, tactical, and crisis messaging to hybrid teams.

“Consolidating our offering has created a clear channel for communications and a single source of truth,” said Alan Harris, director of internal communications, NatWest. "We're already seeing positive engagement from colleagues.”

The bank said that employees can now personalise their news experience, adapt based on their interactions, follow topics of interest, and opt out of communications that are less relevant.
