Northern Trust launches content and networking platform

Northern Trust has launched a new online platform, content hub and networking tool for asset owners.

The platform, dubbed A-Suite, will provide access to research and insights. The US-based investment manager said that the platform is designed to meet the evolving needs of asset owners, allow them to collaborate with others and share best practices.

“Our goal is to empower the missions of asset owners — helping them to optimise returns so they are able to best serve their constituents and communities. With A-Suite we aim to help further those missions to an even greater extent,” said Melanie Pickett, head of asset owners, Americas at Northern Trust.

“Working in partnership with our clients, we expect to quickly add a number of new features and capabilities in upcoming releases,” she added.

Last year Northern Trust launched a new Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) workflow solution designed to enable investors to access and share ESG information more quickly. The company said that the new tool uses data science to help increase transparency while “driving efficiencies in collaboration among investment teams”.
