Paynetics and Verto partner with ClearBank

E-money services provider Paynetics and B2B payments platform Verto have both partnered with ClearBank this week.

Paynetics has partnered with the clearing bank, the first to be introduced in the UK in more than 250 years, to deliver real-time payment and additional banking services to customers.

Paynetics said that the move will enable it to create brand new services in less than eight weeks.

“The payments industry is continuing to evolve so we need a partner who is prepared to invest and move as quickly as Paynetics – we have that partner in ClearBank,” said Mike Peplow, chief executive, Paynetics. “We are always looking for innovative ways to improve our solution offering."

Peplow added: "In order to provide customers with only one integration point to access, it is important that we are able to manage and control everything via API’s from our payments platform, and ClearBank is the perfect partner to do that with."

Verto has chosen ClearBank to help create seamless cross-border payment solutions for underserved UK and European businesses.

The collaboration between ClearBank and Verto will connect UK and European SMEs with a multi-currency bank account and FX solutions.

All Verto users can now accept and send payment all from one single platform.

“Verto is the first to use our multi-currency product and we are delighted to partner with them to alleviate some of the barriers faced by SMEs in the UK and Europe,” said Charles McManus, chief executive, ClearBank. “By working together we’re meeting the demands of the next generation of consumers and businesses.”
