Boku poaches NatWest veteran for CFO position

Boku, a global mobile payments provider, has appointed Rob Whittick as its new chief financial officer.

Whittick joins the firm from NatWest Group, where he has worked for more than 26 years.

He has held a variety of roles including finance director for commercial and private banking.
Most recently he served as group chief of staff and as a member of the group executive committee.

Additionally, Whittick has just completed a three-year term as non-executive director of Motability Operations Group.

Boku, which was founded in San Francisco in 2009, has partnered with a range of companies including Amazon, Netflix and Sony to provide payment accounts across over 60 countries.

"We are delighted that Rob has joined the Boku team at what is a truly exciting time for the Company,” said Stuart Neal, chief executive at Boku. “He brings with him a wealth of experience and knowledge, in particular financial and operational expertise from within a large and complex organisation, invaluable as we progress our own scaling journey.
