ING hires head of sustainable finance for Middle East

ING has announced the appointment of Jonathan Keyes as the bank’s head of sustainable finance for the Middle East.

The newly created role aims to support the bank’s plans to advance sustainable and environmental stewardship in the region.

Keyes most recently held the role of senior manager of sustainable finance at HSBC, where he worked for more than six years.

He has also worked for JP Morgan, Environmental Resources Management (ERM), and Arrow Energy.

Keyes will be responsible for leading ING’s sustainability initiatives, focusing on integrating ESG principles into the client offerings and promoting sustainable finance solutions in the Middle East region.

Keyes will also be responsible for developing sustainable finance solutions for the bank’s clients and supporting sustainability strategies that align with the bank’s global objectives.
