Plum customer service channel faces technical glitch

Plum told customers on Thursday that its customer support platform was having technical issues.

The smart money app said that some Plum customers could have issues accessing its customer support agents or face delays in response to their message.

“Unfortunately, our customer support platform is having some technical issues this morning. If you're contacting our support team, you may experience connection issues or delays,” the company wrote on X. “We apologise for this and appreciate your patience while the issue is resolved.”

The company's live status page showed that there were partial outages across its chat, chat webviews, live support, and messenger services.

Last week, Santander customers took to social media after experiencing issues with cash transfers and payments from their online banking accounts.

The bank said that there was a “technical issue” which triggered delays to faster payments.

In January, Plum announced the launch of a new spend tracker designed to help consumers budget.

The new tracker automatically categorises all outgoings, showing them as a percentage of total spend.
